Scobies Irish Pub opened its doors to the public in March 2001. Since then it has been a popular and friendly meeting spot for all nationalities. Even such celebrities like Shane McGowan and Ian Dempsey have stopped in for a pint! And if it’s good enough for Shane….!  It is located in the centre of Barcelona just off Plaza Catalunya which makes it a convenient place to meet up.  It is surrounded by fabulous Hostels and Hotels and a wonderful variety of great restaurants.  It is Irish owned and managed.

It is genuine and intimate.  Scobies staff are helpful and all speak English and will assist you with any questions you might have.  Scobies Bar is known for the fine pint of Guinness it serves.  It is a great place to watch any sporting event especially any GAA match where all league and championship matches are shown live.
